How Orlando Awnings Pros Works
Orlando Awnings Pros designs and installs retractable awnings, fixed fabric awnings, aluminum patio covers, window and door awnings and storefront awnings in Orlando and the surrounding towns of Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Polk counties. We also repair frames and arms and replace worn awning fabric.
Every job starts at your house or building, not with a catalog price. We measure the wall or opening, look at what the awning will hang on (concrete block, wood frame, stucco over lath, a fascia board or a roof overhang) and check how the sun crosses that side of the property during the hours you actually use it. A west-facing patio in July needs a different projection and fabric than a north-facing kitchen window.
Central Florida adds two more questions to every awning: wind and rules. The Florida Building Code treats awnings as structures with wind design requirements, and many neighborhoods here have a homeowners association that reviews exterior changes. We tell you early whether your project is likely to need a building permit and an HOA application, and we size brackets and anchors for the wall they go into.
After the visit you get a written quote that lists the awning type, size, fabric or panel, frame finish, motor and sensor options if any, mounting method, permit handling and the price. Nothing is ordered until you approve it.
How we work
- We measure and photograph the mounting surface before quoting.
- We confirm whether the job falls inside the City of Orlando or another jurisdiction, since that decides who issues the permit.
- We list fabric and frame options with the manufacturer's own warranty terms, so you can compare them.
- We show you how to retract or secure the awning before storms.
- You pay only for work you approved in writing.
